Griffith Park is one of my favorite things about Los Angeles. Minutes from downtown and nestled above the quaint Los Feliz, Griffith Park stretches it's arms to bearhug 4200 acres of beautiful trails, lush forest, wildlife, and serene still moments. It's only fitting that in a city where size plays a chief role in almost everything that Griffith Park boasts an amazing observatory, the LA Zoo, and one of my favorite places to see outdoor concerts, The Greek Theatre. It's been scorched by fires in the past, but continues to heal and rebirth itself to new generations of families, animals, plants, the earth, the universe and beyond. Check it out!
