3 things I learned about England

By Matthew on June 3, 2008 | Permalink | Comments (4)

  1. England has no good beer.
Period. We had an IPA that tasted like nothing. Worst than nothing. It was gross. And Cask Ales? BAH!
  2. England loves Gill Sans.
Gill Sans is the Helvetica of England.
  3. England has very good Indian food.
While there I had the best Dosa of my life.

Was it the cask that you didn’t like or the ale in the cask? I rather like the taste of the cask, although I’m not sure how different, or authentic, Portland’s cask’s are compared to England’s.

I’m imagining Portland rules the cask. I’m just hating on England’s cask ales. Weak sauce.

the british government also is also very concerned about the national intelligence level, which they estimate to be that of a 5 year old.
