At the time, our most ambi­tious project, this dance took place at the Dou­ble Take art and per­for­mance show curated by our dear friend Tucker Neel in July 2006. sit­u­ated on either side of an aban­doned adult movie the­ater in down­town Los Ange­les, the gallery included two sep­a­rate spaces. the task was to embody and move through both simultaneously.

Under the frame­work of ‘build­ing bod­ies’ we cycled through a 30 minute exer­cise that incor­po­rated stacks of paper, lengths of fab­ric, our bod­ies, the site itself and kahki shorts.
