Time on its legs, Time in bloom, Time gone swimming, Time from the wing of a plane—there are endless ways to reckon Time.
At Griffith Observatory, a “Foo-coe” pendulum oscillates relative to the earth and fixed stars, letting us indirectly observe sidereal time; or, time reckoned by the stars, rather than the sun.
The Aymara of South America are the only people known to visualize the future behind them and the past ahead.
In near death experiences, our brains process information more quickly, which means time actually slows. In fact, every time we alter our perception, we alter time, too.
