The Leprechaun Brothers

Today is St. Patrick’s Day. It is a day of feasting and revelry. If you were in Ireland right now you could walk barefoot 22 miles from Ballintubber Abbey to the peak of the rocky Croagh Patrick. We welcome Claire to the fold! She comes with her own flock — her friends and collaborators at the University of Washington, where she edits an arts journal and generally spreads her good energy around. I (Alisha) met Claire in Portland, OR last summer in a summer camp for the writerly sort and will therefore take the credit for discovering her. She is tall, friendly, funny and sharp as a tack. She is, I think, a writer at heart who wants to make things with people and celebrate things that people make. Collaboration! Extreme artistry! This is the EM spirit. Three cheers for Claire! (Go ahead, do it)
